About Ballet Palm Beach Academy:

Training: We are the official school of  Palm Beach County’s professional ballet company, Ballet Palm Beach, and offer exceptional training from age 3 to adult. Following Ruth Petrinovic’s RPM: Revolutionary Principles of Movement- a curriculum and syllabus that is rooted in scientific fact and not just tradition, allows our students to train safely and grow into the best dancers they can be!

Environment & Care: We provide a safe, nurturing and character- building environment for our students. We are invested in our students… we are here to teach dance– but — to help students grow into amazing young adults is the most important aspect of the academy. We love our students and their families- helping parents in training their children in the way they should go!

Performing Opportunities: We provide performing experiences in professional productions with Palm Beach County’s only professional company, Ballet Palm Beach. Our Year-End Performances and Reports of Progress are a way to show what our dancers have learned throughout the year and perform for our families. Each class is seen for at least 45 minutes and at no additional cost to our families. For dancers in level VII and up, they will present works in the Annual Student Showcase at Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Experiences: We offer unique and life changing experiences through Ballet Ambassadors. Traveling overseas to perform, to expand our understanding of different cultures and to help us see past ourselves! We have taken students to Cuba, Croatia, Bosnia, Russia, Hungary and France. This season, our students will also be part of local outreach performances, including A Day at the Ballet: Nutcracker at the Kravis Center’s Dreyfoos Hall, performing for 2200 students!
